Unfortunately our system has evolved into one in which the profits of doing business have been privatized and the consequences (costs) have been socialized.

We the citizens pick up the costs of broken neighborhoods, destroyed local history, destroyed green space, intensification of traffic, increased noise pollution and stress, environmental degradation, etcetera...

In the face of this development onslaught, it would be expected that community organization would be sprouting up as a counter weight - but nothing happens, we just submit to authority and things go on as they have.....

Time for a change, it is time to defend our neighbourhoods with the same intensity that the propagandist for the developers utilize to support the legalized pillaging of our neighbouhoods and public spaces.

There is enough growth and development areas around the outskirts of the city already. It is disturbing to watch developers making huge amounts of money where our schools once stood.Kings Forest and surrounding area has already been destroyed by development. Can we not leave some Green areas be.What will be next? Parks? And why do our Taxes go up when these contractors are making money hand over fist while the residences are loosing public areas?Ridiculous!!!!!
